The Influence Of Organizational Culture And Career Development On Employee Performance In Cooperatives, Smes, Industry, And Trade In Gorontalo Province
This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational culture and career development on employee performance at the Office of Cooperatives, SMEs, Industry, and Trade in Gorontalo Province. The underlying phenomenon of this research is the low level of employee awareness of implementing organizational culture and the lack of understanding of career development in supporting the development of DISKUMPERINDAG, which impacts employee performance. The research method used is quantitative with a survey. The study population included all DISKUMPERINDAG employees in Gorontalo Province, and the sample was determined using a purposive sampling technique with 100 DISKUMPERINDAG employees as respondents. The research instrument used a semantic differential scale-based questionnaire, and data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression. The results showed that organizational culture and career development simultaneously had a positive and significant effect on employee performance (the calculated F-value was 117.925 with a significance level of <0.001 <0.05). Partially, each variable, both organizational culture and career development, had a significant positive effect on DISKUMPERINDAG employee performance. The coefficient of determination (R2) in this study was 0.709, indicating a 70.9% independent to dependent variable ratio, while the remaining 29.1% was influenced by other factors such as leadership style, motivation, or the work environment.
