The Influence of Workload and Work Environment on Teacher Stress Levels at Bina Dharma High School JakartaCurrent trends indicate that teachers face increasingly complex job demands, not only in teaching activities but also in managing instructional administration, evaluating students, and adapting to advancements in educational technology. These conditions lead to an increased workload that has the potential to cause psychological stress. Additionally, a less-than-conducive work environment—both in terms of physical conditions and workplace relationships at the school—can affect teachers’ comfort at work, thereby triggering work-related stress. This study aims to determine the influence of workload and work environment on the level of work-related stress among teachers at Bina Dharma High School. This study employs a quantitative method with an associative approach. Data collection was conducted through the distribution of questionnaires to all teachers using a saturation sampling technique, with a sample size of 43 respondents.T he data analysis techniques include validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing using partial test (t-test) and simultaneous test (F-test). The results show that workload has a positive and significant effect on teachers’ work stress levels, indicating that higher workload leads to higher stress levels. Meanwhile, the work environment does not have a significant effect on teachers’ work stress levels. Simultaneously, workload and work environment have a significant effect on teachers’ work stress levels. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that workload is the dominant factor influencing teachers’ work stress, while the work environment is not a major factor affecting work stress in this study.
