Friday Alms Program In Supporting Financing Of Social Activities Case Study At MTs Mathalibul Huda Mlonggo
This study examines the implementation of the Friday Charity (Jumat Sedekah) program as an instrument for financing social activities at MTs. Mathalibul Huda Mlonggo Jepara. This program represents an educational philanthropy movement involving active participation of students and teachers in contributing funds every Friday to support five main functions: cross-subsidy for tuition fees for underprivileged students, health assistance, financing of school attributes and equipment, orphan assistance, and pocket money provision. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that the Friday Charity program is effective in building social awareness, strengthening school community solidarity, and providing concrete assistance to students in need. This program has not only material but also spiritual dimensions, forming social care character from an early age while creating a sustainable internal support system within the educational environment.
